AAA's Mature Operator Course for Experienced Drivers
AAA's Mature Operator Course is a state-approved driving course designed to help drivers over age 60 enhance their driving skills.

Mature Operator Course
This two-day course provides experienced drivers with up-to-date information on the latest vehicle technology and risk-reducing driving techniques. Participants must attend both days, perform a small driving assessment and pass an exam to be eligible for a certificate.
Classes are taught by AAA-certified instructors and cover:
- Risk reduction
- Vision and other natural aged-based changes
- Communication with other drivers
- Speed and space management
- Driving emergencies
- Vehicle maintenance
- Alcohol, prescription medications and other driving impairments
You will qualify for a three-year auto insurance discount upon completing this course. You must share the certificate of completion with your insurance agent to be deemed eligible.
This course is taught at AAA Ohio Auto Club's headquarters, 90 E. Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, Ohio. Course hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Course dates and locations are subject to change based on COVID-19 guidance.
